The XCF 801, 802 and 803 are plug and diver & bait rods, balanced for their application to allow lures to generate maximum action. On the strike, the rods allow fish to achieve a solid hold before the butt section sets the hook. Longer models apply the same controlled response to trolled baits like herring and anchovies, effectively insulating the strike and fish fighting from human-induced errors. The rods fish the bait, set the hook, and cushion the fight as a function of their design.
The XCF 906 is a specialty model for Canada's Fraser River sturgeon. It's length, power and action excels in the fishery where fish size covers a wide spectrum.
